Hey Everyone.
I recently went on my first official camping trip, with my school. I stupidly forgot to bring my camera so I borrowed a few photos from people to share with you all for this post. Most of these photos are from my friend Maura who took these on a disposable camera. They all turned out amazing!
Some of my closest friends and I. CUTE! |
To be honest I was absolutely dreading it because the thought of having to stay in tents and not be able to have access to proper facilities was not appealing.
It was a 3 day trip to Kenmare. Bit random but it is a tradition in my school for fourth year classes. We were told we weren't allowed electronics besides cameras and no makeup. I actually really enjoyed the fact that we didn't have electronics because we really got to focus on the trip and our friends, I didn't miss mine one bit.
On the trip we did a 19km hike, archery, paint-balling, mountain biking, kayaking and went on a water trampoline and banana boat. It was a crazy but fun 3 days. My favourite part was the water trampoline and my least favourite was the paint-balling. It was not my idea of "fun." It hurt.
Please excuse the fact that I look terrible here! Bare in mind that we weren't allowed wear makeup. |
The camp-fire was really nice because it was the only time during the day that we could relax. We all sung songs and people told scary and funny stories while we all toasted marshmallows. I ate so many s'mores between the 2 nights camping #noregrets, haha.
All tucked up, ready for the camp-fire. |
The place we went "The Star Outdoors, Kenmare" was great and the people there were so nice. The views were incredible and the weather was good too so it was a very successful trip overall. I LOVED IT! I still don't think I'm a camping person but if I had to do it again I wouldn't mind.
Hope you enjoyed this post and thanks for reading! I'll be back with another post Monday.

Your trip to Kenmare looks like it was great fun, and the photos are lovely. Sometimes it's great to just detach yourself from the busy digital world and put technology aside, it's easy to forget about the natural, finer things in life. It's good to see that the trip was filled with activities too, a trip you'll remember forever, I hope!
