"Michelle's Mondays"

Hey Guys :)

I've decided to only post on Mondays from now on. Basically I don't have the time to do 2 posts a week because I'm in school and always busy. I want to put as much time and effort as I can into my blog posts because I love blogging and want to be able to look back on them and be happy with what I posted.

I just feel recently my posts have been rushed due to my lack of time. I never realised how much time and effort it would take, having to decide a topic, prepare it, take pictures (if necessary) and upload them in time for Monday and Friday.

If I post once a week at least I can put as much effort and time I have into making it how I want it to be. I hope you understand where I'm coming from and why I decided to post once a week. I have so many posts planned for the near future and I'm so excited to share them with you all. Thank you so much for reading my blog and I'll be back next Monday.

My Most Used Apps.

Hey Guys :)
I love to download apps every once and a while to try them out but I do have my favourites. My favourites are all free to download and are the ones I use the most and find most useful.

My first favourite is definitely Instagram. There isn't a day I don't go on Instagram. I will be setting up an account for this blog soon but I'll let you know when I've created it. Instagram is basically a place to upload and share photos with others. It's really fun seeing what your favourite celebrities or close friends are getting up to. It's definitely my favourite social media site.

The next app I'll mention is iTube, This is the app I use the most, by far.  It is such a useful app. Basically it's an app you can use to download videos for free off YouTube.

I use it for my music playlist instead of having to download songs off iTunes. It's an essential for me, personally. You have to play the video the full way through once using internet but then once it's played once, you don't need internet to watch it again. You can create your own playlist and watch your favourite videos off YouTube.

Shazam is the next app I find most useful.  I love music so I always want to know the name of a song or who sings it so this app is perfect for me. It's an app that records a small bit of a song for you that might be playing on the radio or tv, recognises the song and tells you the name of it and who sings it. It'such a clever invention. I love it!

The last favourite of mine is Candy Crush. I find this app so addictive and is the one I play when I'm bored or don't have internet. I'm not even going to attempt to tell you how to play because it's hard to explain but if you download it, it will explain how to play. It isn't hard at all but \I would be rubbish at explaining it. It's very addictive but really good fun.

****
Give them a try if you want. Let me know if there are any apps that you like in case I'm missing out, Thanks for reading and I''ll be back with another post on Monday.

My Beauty Wish List.

Hey Guys :)

Today's blog post is listing the products I want to get before 2015, maybe for Christmas or from my savings. I love reading what others have on their "Wish List." It gives me good inspiration and helps me to start saving I guess.

1.  The first product on my wish list is Moroccan Oil. This stuff isn't very cheap so I want to save up to get it someday. It's supposed to be amazing for your hair so I really want to try it out.

2.  The next item on my list is the Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Concealer/Brightener. This has been on my wish list for a long time now but I still haven't purchased it. This concealer, like most YSL products are expensive at a price of €30.76. The concealer comes in a dispensable pen form which looks very interesting to use. I just feel like there are so many great, cheap drugstore concealers out there that it seems crazy to buy such an expensive concealer. It's still on my wish list though.

3.  Next is the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Lip Balm. I've heard many beauty gurus rave about this lip balm. I get really dry lips so any lip balm that seems really good is very appealing to me. I just haven't got around to buying it.

4.  I really want to get the Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray. I have fine hair which mean I don't have much volume so this product would be great for my hair. It's €33.12 which is definitely not in my budget right now.

5.  Next on my wish list is Marc Jacob's perfume, Honey. I was given a tester when I was on holidays and ever since I have wanted it. I spray the tester on special days or for a change from my other perfumes. This is definitely one of the items I will purchase soon. It smells SO good.

6.  The last product that I wish to buy, for now is the Benefit Pore Fessional. I really want to try this primer out as I've heard only good things about it. I've never used a primer before which is why I haven't purchased it yet but it is on my list. So maybe one day I'll get it.

Making a wish list is actually really fun, try it out yourself. I know I'll want something else next week but just add it to your list and when you finally save up or get it as a gift you can tick it off the list. It would make you appreciate it a little more than just impulse buying it.

Simple Skincare Brand.

Simple is my favourite brand for skincare. I have been using it for years now, ever since I started wearing makeup which is over 3 years now. I have used others before but when it comes to removing makeup and moisturising my face,  it is my favourite.

I use the "Purifying Cleansing Lotion" (far right of the picture) to remove my makeup and then put on the "Soothing Toner" (left of the picture, green bottle) after to remove any excess makeup. However, I don't use these to remove my eye makeup. I know that Simple do an eye makeup remover but I haven't got around to trying it yet.

I use the "Hydrating Moisturiser" (middle) after I have washed my face.  It's really nice on the skin and is a quite a think moisturiser but it dries on the skin really quickly leaving my skin feel soft.

Simple is so inexpensive and really good for the price. I need to start using more of their products. All the Simple products has  no artificial perfumes or harsh chemicals so it shouldn't cause your skin to get irritated. It has never made my skin breakout so I trust this brand very much.

When it comes to skincare, I rarely change my routine because if it works and the products react well with my skin, why change it? There isn't any point trying out other products that could make you breakout or come out in a rash if you have good skincare products. I do love to try out face masks and scrubs every now and then but for my everyday skincare routine, I tend to stick with the same products.

Everyone's skin is different. Therefore, products that I use and work well on my skin may not necessarily react the same with you. It's all just trial and error really. I know that many people like Simple and it works well with them so if you're looking for a cheap and good brand to try out then maybe give this Simple a go.

Ed Sheeran Concert.

Last Friday I went to see Ed Sheeran perform in the 3Arena in Dublin. The place was packed with people of all ages, boys and girls. The support act, Saint Raymond sounded really good.  However, words can't describe how good Ed Sheeran was. He's just SO talented, it's mind-blowing. For the whole concert it was just him and his guitar on stage, no backup singers or band. He was AMAZING!
He sung songs from his new album "X" and a few of his older songs. His voice sounded the exact same live as it does on his CD.  He seemed so relaxed and comfortable on stage.
It was a really chilled concert and everyone just seemed so calm which I loved. I'm not sure if you can tell from the pictures but he wore an Irish jersey which was so sweet.
During "A Team" he asked everyone to take out their phones and put on their flash. It was incredible to see all the lights in the crowd.
Here is a picture of my friend Eimear and I.
What I wore:
Cropped jumper: H&M
Skater skirt: H&M
Tights: Penneys
Frilly socks: Penneys
Boots: Penneys

Hope you enjoyed this post and I'm sorry the photos aren't too clear but the lights in there make it difficult to photograph well.

Monthly Favourites-September.

Hey Everyone.
This month, I didn't love many beauty items so I decided that I'd include some other things I liked during the month of September.

My first favourite for this month is the Day 2 Night mascara from Rimmel. This was a new discovery for me because I hadn't tried it before but I really like it. I usually use the Maybeline the Falsies mascara but I wanted a change. This mascara is so cool, it has 2 different shaped wands. One that is thin to add length and then another wand which is thicker to volumise your lashes.

This mascara separates your lashes well and doesn't smudge. For school, I've been loving just using the thin lengthening wand as it gives me a really long and well separated lash look without being too dramatic. I actually only used this mascara through September and I'll be continuing to use it throughout October.

I love the Soap and Glory range but I especially love the body butters. My favourite scent and the one I used so much this month is the "Butter Yourself" Body Butter. It smells SO good. I'm rubbish at describing smells so take my word for it when I say it smells amazing, it's very fruity and sweet. If you ever come across it in the shop, give it a sniff, haha. I got this with a set so it's quite a small tub so I might have to go buy the bigger tub.

The next is a fashion favourite. It's a back-pack from Penneys(Primark). September has been all go so this bag has been so useful. It fits everything I need and is easy to carry because it's on my back and it looks super cute. It is a light denim colour with a white floral print. I bought it during Summer so I'm not too sure if they are still in Penneys but there are many other types around.

I have been loving the song "All About That Bass" by Meghan Trainor. I know it's been out for a while now but it's just so catchy and upbeat. It immediately puts me in a good mood and I have to sing along to it. Let me know what's been your favourite song of the month.

I know this one is random but I couldn't do a September favourites without including Fox's Golden Crunch Creams. I absolutely love these biscuits. I have been eating these so much this month. I'm not much of a "biscuit" person but these are just..yummayy. They are basically a crunchy biscuit sandwich with a layer of a golden cream in the inside (great explaining, I know, haha) They are definitely my weakness this month.

****

That's all my favourite's for September. Wow this year is going fast, hope you had a great month and I'll be back, as usual with another post Monday.
