Home-Made Face Mask.

Hey Guys so my friends and I tried out this home-made face mask and really enjoyed it. Therefore, I wanted to share the recipe with you in case you're looking for a face mask to make.
How To Make It:
1. Mush half a banana in a bowl, using a fork.
2. Add the sachet (half cup) of oats and the tablespoon of honey into the bowl.
3. Add the 2 tablespoons of water in and mix together until it is a sticky mixture.

  • Add more honey if the mixture needs to be more sticky.
  • Add water if it you want it creamier.
  • Put more oats or banana in the bowl if it isn't thick enough,
It's your personal preference.

I must admit, it definitely isn't the nicest looking face mask, but it does a
good job.

We basically rubbed the mixture onto our skin. It actually stuck to our faces so well. We left it on for about 10 minutes while having a little dance party.

It did start to sting when it came to the 5 minute mark. Then we rinsed our faces with luke warm water and dried it. Our faces felt so soft and refreshed. I really liked it actually.

Let me know if you try this face mask or if you have any others that I could try.

A Small Trip To Lush.

Hey Guys, hope you all had a great Easter.
I picked up a few products in Lush the other day, I'm obsessed with that shop. The worker was raving about all these products so I of course gave in and bought a few.

 "Think Pink" Bath Bomb.
I've actually used this bath bomb once before. It's super cute because when you put it in your bath it has pink confetti hearts. It's very sweet scented which I'm not sure I love too much but it creates a gorgeous bath. It cost €3.60.

"You've Been Mangoed" Bath Melt.
This is the product I always go back for in Lush. It smells AMAZING! It has a citrus and fresh smell.

It is originally for the bath but sometimes I rub this on my skin in the shower, breaking the rules because I'm such a rebel (wink, wink) .It leaves my skin so soft and hydrated. It was €4.55.

"King Of Skin" Body Butter.
The worker tried this on my hand in the shop and I immediately wanted it. It felt so nice and moisturising. I've heard so many good things about this product so I must see what the fuss is all about.

It doesn't have an amazing scent. It kind of smells like white chocolate but I think this may be a new favourite. It cost €7.81

"The Comforter" Bath Bar.
I fell for the colour of this one. It just looks so pretty and cool. I really like the smell of this too. It smells very fruity and sweet.

I haven't used a bath bar before so I'm excited to try this one out. It's a big product too so It should last me a while. This cost €6.45.

Secret Talent ~ Painting.

Helloooo :) I think it's time to share a passion of mine that doesn't involve fashion, beauty or music. A few years ago I used to do art classes. I did them for 5 years of my life. I absolutely love everything about art and crafts but it's very time consuming. I rarely ever find the time to paint anymore. I do it during the week in school but I don't always get to do the painting I want.

I find art so therapeutic and calming. I really want to start painting at home again, hopefully over Summer I'll find the time. It's funny because no one else in my family likes art so we all wonder where I even got this trait but I'll just go with it for now, haha.

Here are some of my paintings that I did over the years.

Spring OOTD ~ Printed Pants and Lace Top.

Hey Guys :)  It was such a nice day the other day which has been very rare recently in Ireland. I couldn't not go out and take a picture of my outfit so here's what I wore going out for dinner with my Mum and my sister, Jen. It's definitely my go-to Spring outfit.

I am obsessed with this outfit for Spring because it's so comfortable but looks dressy. I'm going to wear these printed pants to death this Spring and Summer. You can completely dress them up or down. They were super cheap too.

OOTD!
 Lace Top ~ Bershka
Printed Pants ~ Penneys/Primark

Feeling A Bit Blahh...

Recently I haven't been feeling the best. The small things have been getting me down and I've been just feeling a bit..blahh.. I guess we all have those days and on these days I can get a bit negative and find it hard to focus on the good things that make me smile.

Music always helps me to stay positive and appreciate the good things. This song helps to lift my spirits and make me realise that I am very fortunate and to stop feeling down. Although it's perfectly fine to feel sad sometimes but that's a whole other can of worms. I love this song because the lyrics are meaningful and I really like how uplifting the melody is. Let me know what you do on your down days.

I also did a  blog post on "Thinking Positive" if you want to read it:

My Favourite High Street Store ~ New Look

Hey Guys, I'm back again :) I am obsessed with shopping as I'm sure most of you are too. My favourite shop is New Look. I just always seem to come out with something. The clothes and accessories are such good quality at a reasonable price.

I love the fact that their products can be so similar to the more pricey brands but obviously much cheaper. I love Topshop and River Island etc but they're not always in my budget so that's why I like New Look so much. It's always keeping up with the newest trends and has such a variety of clothing. It's the perfect shop for most people really. LOVE IT!

Let me know what your favourite shop is.

Review: Vaseline "Spray & Go" Body Moisturiser Aloe Fresh.

This body moisturiser has became my new favourite. I absolutely love everything about this product! It is basically a quick drying spray moisturiser. It makes moisturising my body so much easier and less of a chore. This product soaks into the skin almost immediately without having that sticky feeling. I now moisturise regularly without complaining.

The consistency is very thin making it spread easily. It has a fresh scent that stays on your skin for hours. Aloe Vera is in it which has great skin benefits. My skin just feels so fresh and smooth after using this product. I don't use this on my face because I have my own facial moisturiser but I'm sure it would be great to use on your face because it's so refreshing and cooling.

It sells at €6.49 for a 190ml bottle which is a reasonable price because it lasts ages. The reason it is a spray moisturiser is what makes it different to others ones on the market. Personally, I think because it is a spray is what makes me love it so much.
