My Favourite Red Carpet Looks ~ Oscars 2016.

The third awards night post in a row but this is the one everyone has been waiting for. Everyone loves the Oscar's red carpet, it's just so fancy. Here are a few of my favourite outfits of the night. Enjoy!

Saoirse Ronan.
Starting first with Saoirse Ronan. She represented Ireland well, looking stunning on the red carpet. I really like this dress, super classy and flattering. Little sparkle for the Oscars never hurt no one. Her hair was really pretty too.

Alicia Vikander.
I was obsessed with Alicia's Golden Globe outfit but I'm equally obsessed with this. This outfit is so fresh and beautiful. The light yellow dress really compliments her skin-tone and hair colour. I like her natural looking makeup, very "Spring" appropriate.  The entire look was a winner for me!

Jennifer Laurence.
I think Jennifer Laurence looked gorgeous at the Oscars this year. The dress isn't my absolute favourite of the night but I think the outfit, with the makeup, hair and accessories worked really well together. Her makeup and hair was flawless.

Olivia Munn.
This dress could be seen as a little boring to a lot of people. I think the simplicity of this dress is what makes it appealing though. The bright orange colour isn't done too often but it actually looks really nice. This dress fits her so well, it's so pretty and elegant.

Priyanka Chropro.
To be honest, I hadn't heard of Priyanka Chropro before but I love her dress. This outfit screams glamour which I think is perfect for a fancy event like the Oscars. The detailing is so beautiful. This would actually make such a nice wedding dress.

Rachel McAdams.
(Shout-out to my sister, Jen who has been raving about this dress all day, haha.)

A lot of the celebrities seemed to keep their makeup fairly natural this year, including Rachel McAdams. It's nice to see fresh natural looking makeup for a change.

This dress made a statement without being too dramatic. It's quite a simple dress but has a sophisticated feel to it. It is very trendy too - this style neckline has been everywhere for the past few months. Rachel looked so classy and confident in this outfit.

Olivia Wilde.
Last but not least, is Olivia Wilde's outift. This was another winner for me. This dress is incredible. It's very flattering and stylish. I'm a sucker for a pleated style dress, I think it adds such a feminine touch.

She kept her makeup fairly natural too with her hair swept back to allow the dress be the main attention. Got to give that fab choker a mention too. This look was stunning!

And that's it for "Awards Night" posts, for a while anyway. Let me know which outfits were your favourite.

Grammys 2016 Red Carpet Fashion ~ Hits and Misses.

Hey Everyone.
It's time for another "Red Carpet Fashion" discussion, this time it's all about the Grammys 2016. I just love doing these posts! Remember that I'm only commenting on the outfits, not the celebrities. These are my own personal opinions, you don't have to agree. Let me know which outfits were your favourite and least favourite. Let's get into it!

Hits Of The Night.
Kaley Cuoco

I love this flowy playsuit. The sequent design is so pretty and adds a bit of sparkle and glam. I like the backless part and the triangle cut-out in the front, it adds a bit of drama. This was really flattering on Kaley Cuoco.

Taylor Swift.

I'm a little biased because I'm such a fan of Taylor but I actually really do like this two piece.  I
especially love the 2 vibrant colours together and the shiny fabric. I don't like the shoes though.

The skirt is a similar effect to the dress she wore at last year's Grammys but it works for her, showing off her long legs. I'm not going to lie, I'm not a huge fan of the hair, I think it makes her look a lot older, and less edgy.

Nicole Trunfio.

Nicole Trunfio's outfit was actually my favourite of the night. I think this jumpsuit is so cool and striking. The cape effect sleeves is very fashion forward. The dark grey sparkle material adds a dramatic and different feel. It's very sexy without having to show too much skin. Perfect for the Grammys.

Kacey Musgraves.

This dress is so pretty and very unique. I'm not sure what this dress is made of but it looks almost fluffy. The colours blend well together. It's really pretty and makes a subtle statement.

Carrie Underwood.

Carrie Underwood looked the queen of class on the red carpet. Black is a safe option but nearly always works. The "Angelina Jolie" style leg slit adds a sexy, confident appearance. Carrie looks classy and gorgeous in this dress.

Diana Gloster,

This next dress is going to be a "marmite" outfit. Some will love it, some will hate it. I personally think it's clever and individual.

It could look a bit boring from far away but when you notice the music notes on the bottom half, you'll appreciate it more. I thinks it's a smart and witty creation and it makes sense for the event, I guess.

Selena Gomez.

Selena was sparkling at this year's Grammys. She showed off a lot of skin but without looking too sexy, she kept it sophisticated and overall stunning. Obsessed with this colour too!

Ellie Goulding,

Lastly, for the hits of the Grammys, is Ellie Goulding. I think she looks so feminine and angelic in this dress, The pale pink is really pretty on her. This is different to Ellie's more rocker style.

Misses Of The Night.
Andra Day.

This outfit reminds me of a modern day Cruella Deville. Maybe I'd like it more if she had all the cute dalmatian puppies. The best thing about this outfit is her big smile. She looks so happy which is nice to see instead of the usual red carpet "pout face."

Zendaya.

It pains me to say this because I usually love Zendaya's red carpet fashion but this was not one of those times. I like the idea of the suit and all but this does not work for me. It looks way too big for her and a little masculine. This just wasn't good.

Florence Welch.

Like her music, hate this dress. It looks like a nightdress. The stars look a bit childish too. I just don't understand this look.

Dencia.

All I can say is...WHAT?
