Highlights Of 2015.

2015 has definitely been the best year of my life, so far. I got to do amazing things this year and go amazing places. I am very grateful for everyone and everything in my life. I'm very excited to see what 2016 will bring.

There have been SO many highlights in 2015 but a few stand out a little more. I'm going to share them with you. I have done separate blog posts for most of these highlights that I'll link below. Enjoy!

Holidays To Puerto Rico.
This holiday was the first holiday I'd been on where it was just my Mum, my sister, Jen and I (basically everyone in my family besides my brother Daniel and my Dad.) We had so much fun and it was so relaxing. It was a typical "girly holiday."

Ed Sheeran And Kodaline Concert.
I went a bit "Concert Crazy" this year, including the concerts of Ellie Goulding, Kodaline, 5 Seconds Of Summer and Ed Sheeran.  Although they were all so good, I think my 2 favourites were Ed Sheeran and Kodaline.

Ed Sheeran was AMAZING! We went to see him in Croke Park Stadium. He was just incredible, as usual. I had seen him before in the 3Arena but there's something about Croke Park that made it ten times better.

Kodaline's concert was really great too. I wasn't much of a fan before the concert but I absolutely loved them after. I think I enjoyed that concert so much because all my friends were there. It was like a big party.

Kenmare Camping Trip.
As part of school, we got to go camping for 2 nights in Kenmare, The days were full of activities like paint-balling (which I hated) and water sports. At night we stayed in tents which was actually the most fun.

This trip was something I had such anxiety about before, I didn't plan on going but leading up to it, I decided to go. I'm SO happy I went. It was one of the highlights of my year. There are so many funny stories from this trip that my friends and I talk about all the time.

Going To London.
London is one of my highlights because I had never been there before and fell in love with the place. I can't wait to go back there, hopefully sometime soon. I went with my older brother Daniel. It was SO much fun and we got to visit so many places.

Seeing Les Miserables in the West End was the best part of the trip though. It was incredible. The movie will now never live up to the live performance. I loved every minute of it.

So that's a few of my highlights from 2015. I hope 2016 is even better! I blogged a lot this year and really enjoyed it. I will continue blogging throughout 2016 also. Thanks you so much for reading.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Monthly Beauty Favourites ~ December 2015

Hey everyone. I can't believe I haven't done a "monthly faves" post since July. I have tried out a few new products that I want to share with you because I think they're great. Enjoy!

1. Maybeline "The Rocket" Mascara.
As I'm sure I've mentioned before, mascaras are my obsession. I love to try out new mascaras all the time. Although this isn't a new mascara by any means, it's a new one for me.

It makes my lashes crazy long. I haven't tried a mascara that separates my lashes as quickly and as easily as this one does. I only like fanned out separated lashes so if you also like that type of look, I think you would love this product.. Clumpy lashes are one of my pet peeves, seriously.

2. Nyx "Wonder Stick"
This is probably my new favourite product in my makeup collection. It's a highlighter and contour stick. They are cream products obviously which I think I prefer to powders. They're easier to blend and last longer.

The cream contour is very natural and so easy to use because you can just draw your contour exactly where you want, in the hollow of your cheeks, down your nose etc. The highlighter is very pretty with a nice shimmer to it.  Love, love, love!

3. Real Techniques "Sculpting Brush"
I've been using this brush for contouring and I really like it. It fits perfectly in the hollows of my cheeks and blends cream and powder products really well. It's angled too which helps to create a natural sculpted face.

4. Catrice Lip-pencil "100 Upper Brown Side"
I have recently been really getting into lipliners. For a cheap price, the Catrice ones are really good. They apply nicely and have a good staying power. I'm definitely going to buy more. This pencil is a brownie- pink shade which adds a little bit of dimension to a nude lip.

5. Hask "Hair Argon Oil"
This product has made a big difference to the appearance and texture of my hair. I apply this just to ends of my washed hair before I dry it. It makes my hair less frizzy and so soft. I had never even heard of this brand until I saw the small little bottles of it in Penneys and said I'd give it a go. I'm happy I tried it now.

6. Timberland Boots.
Ok, I'm not going to lie, these aren't real. Basically I bought these fake timberland boots in Penneys because I didn't want to splurge on the real pairs before trying them first. I wasn't sure if I'd even like them on or if I would get any use out of them so I decided to try the much cheaper pair first

I have been living in these boots all Winter. I absolutely love them. I think they add a little edge to a fairly plain outfit. (The camera washed out the colour of them slightly, they are actually the original tanned colour in person.) My new favourite boots.

Another post coming tomorrow. Please follow to be notified when I next post. Thank you so much for reading.
