Highlights Of 2015.

2015 has definitely been the best year of my life, so far. I got to do amazing things this year and go amazing places. I am very grateful for everyone and everything in my life. I'm very excited to see what 2016 will bring.

There have been SO many highlights in 2015 but a few stand out a little more. I'm going to share them with you. I have done separate blog posts for most of these highlights that I'll link below. Enjoy!

Holidays To Puerto Rico.
This holiday was the first holiday I'd been on where it was just my Mum, my sister, Jen and I (basically everyone in my family besides my brother Daniel and my Dad.) We had so much fun and it was so relaxing. It was a typical "girly holiday."

Ed Sheeran And Kodaline Concert.
I went a bit "Concert Crazy" this year, including the concerts of Ellie Goulding, Kodaline, 5 Seconds Of Summer and Ed Sheeran.  Although they were all so good, I think my 2 favourites were Ed Sheeran and Kodaline.

Ed Sheeran was AMAZING! We went to see him in Croke Park Stadium. He was just incredible, as usual. I had seen him before in the 3Arena but there's something about Croke Park that made it ten times better.

Kodaline's concert was really great too. I wasn't much of a fan before the concert but I absolutely loved them after. I think I enjoyed that concert so much because all my friends were there. It was like a big party.

Kenmare Camping Trip.
As part of school, we got to go camping for 2 nights in Kenmare, The days were full of activities like paint-balling (which I hated) and water sports. At night we stayed in tents which was actually the most fun.

This trip was something I had such anxiety about before, I didn't plan on going but leading up to it, I decided to go. I'm SO happy I went. It was one of the highlights of my year. There are so many funny stories from this trip that my friends and I talk about all the time.

Going To London.
London is one of my highlights because I had never been there before and fell in love with the place. I can't wait to go back there, hopefully sometime soon. I went with my older brother Daniel. It was SO much fun and we got to visit so many places.

Seeing Les Miserables in the West End was the best part of the trip though. It was incredible. The movie will now never live up to the live performance. I loved every minute of it.

So that's a few of my highlights from 2015. I hope 2016 is even better! I blogged a lot this year and really enjoyed it. I will continue blogging throughout 2016 also. Thanks you so much for reading.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Monthly Beauty Favourites ~ December 2015

Hey everyone. I can't believe I haven't done a "monthly faves" post since July. I have tried out a few new products that I want to share with you because I think they're great. Enjoy!

1. Maybeline "The Rocket" Mascara.
As I'm sure I've mentioned before, mascaras are my obsession. I love to try out new mascaras all the time. Although this isn't a new mascara by any means, it's a new one for me.

It makes my lashes crazy long. I haven't tried a mascara that separates my lashes as quickly and as easily as this one does. I only like fanned out separated lashes so if you also like that type of look, I think you would love this product.. Clumpy lashes are one of my pet peeves, seriously.

2. Nyx "Wonder Stick"
This is probably my new favourite product in my makeup collection. It's a highlighter and contour stick. They are cream products obviously which I think I prefer to powders. They're easier to blend and last longer.

The cream contour is very natural and so easy to use because you can just draw your contour exactly where you want, in the hollow of your cheeks, down your nose etc. The highlighter is very pretty with a nice shimmer to it.  Love, love, love!

3. Real Techniques "Sculpting Brush"
I've been using this brush for contouring and I really like it. It fits perfectly in the hollows of my cheeks and blends cream and powder products really well. It's angled too which helps to create a natural sculpted face.

4. Catrice Lip-pencil "100 Upper Brown Side"
I have recently been really getting into lipliners. For a cheap price, the Catrice ones are really good. They apply nicely and have a good staying power. I'm definitely going to buy more. This pencil is a brownie- pink shade which adds a little bit of dimension to a nude lip.

5. Hask "Hair Argon Oil"
This product has made a big difference to the appearance and texture of my hair. I apply this just to ends of my washed hair before I dry it. It makes my hair less frizzy and so soft. I had never even heard of this brand until I saw the small little bottles of it in Penneys and said I'd give it a go. I'm happy I tried it now.

6. Timberland Boots.
Ok, I'm not going to lie, these aren't real. Basically I bought these fake timberland boots in Penneys because I didn't want to splurge on the real pairs before trying them first. I wasn't sure if I'd even like them on or if I would get any use out of them so I decided to try the much cheaper pair first

I have been living in these boots all Winter. I absolutely love them. I think they add a little edge to a fairly plain outfit. (The camera washed out the colour of them slightly, they are actually the original tanned colour in person.) My new favourite boots.

Another post coming tomorrow. Please follow to be notified when I next post. Thank you so much for reading.

Demi Lovato - Strong and Confident.

Hey Guys. So I'm sure I'm not the only one who is a fan of Demi Lovato. I love her music but I especially love what she represents. Demi is always spreading the message about being confident in your own skin. She promotes a healthy image, getting fit and learning to rock the body shape she has.

She empowers women to be strong and confident which makes her very inspiring. She believes that people should be comfortable with their own image and be their own person. I think this message is very important because nowadays it's so difficult not to compare yourself to others.

Demi shares no make-up selfies all the time on her instagram (ddlovato). There aren't many celebrities that do this very often. It just shows that Demi is comfortable enough to be honest and show her real self, even in the eyes of the public.

I'm sure Demi has insecurities too as she isn't perfect. No one is. But it's the fact that she's not afraid to embrace her flaws is what makes her one of my favourite celebs.

Demi is just such a stunning person, inside and out. She's a complete boss which I love. Her new song "Confident" explains exactly what she's all about.

Hope you enjoyed this post. Thanks for reading!

Fashion Forward Style ~ Zendaya.

Hey Everyone! Today I wanted to chat about the gorgeous Zendaya Coleman's fashion forward style. I admire people like Zendaya who aren't afraid to take risks with fashion.

She always finds a way to stand out from the crowd because of her brave and bold fashion choices. Sometimes the risks pay off and other times it looks a little too crazy but she works it with confidence. I always have my eyes pealed to see what Zendaya wears to any big events.

Her style is so fashion forward that sometimes people don''t always like it but give it a few weeks and everyone will be trying to rock something similar. She's ahead of the game when it comes to fashion which gives her this "fashionista" title.

Her everyday style as-well as her carpet style is so "hip" and different. She'll have a fairly plain outfit but then add some coloured shoes or do her hair in a crazy way.

Zendaya loves to try out different themes too like she'll be very elegant and classy or she'll bwear something a little edgy.

I love that she works 2 completely different patterns or colours into one outfit and makes it look so cool. i'm just so obsessed with her style!

Thanks for reading! Please follow if you want to read more posts in the future. Hope you enjoyed this post.

Music Channels On YouTube Worth Checking Out.

Hey Guys, I'm back again. I know I talk about fashion and beauty a lot but I actually have such a huge interest in music too. I never really speak enough about it on my blog. I sometimes spend hours on YouTube just watching covers of popular songs but I do have my favourite channels.

If you're into hearing covers and original songs then you might like to check these channels out. I have a load more to talk about but I'd be here for days so I'll just name out my current favourites for now.
******
SarahClose1
SarahClose1 is definitely my favourite. I absolutely love Sarah's voice and the way she puts her own spin on the covers she does. She's super talented! I'm a little obsessed with her, haha.

Kurt Hugo Schneider
Next is a channel that has been around for a long time but is still as amazing as ever. They're editing is top class and professional. Kurt Hugo Schneider (KHS) doesn't sing very much but  he plays the instruments for the songs.

He uses his channel to promote other singers on YouTube which is really cool. The music is always amazing.
https://www.youtube.com/user/KurtHugoSchneider

Sabrina Carpenter.
Sabrina Carpenter is another great singer on YouTube who is starting to publish her own music but she does covers too which are super good. Her voice is so nice and unique.
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPKWE1H6xhxwPlqUlKgHb_w

Haley Klinkhammer
Haley Klinkhammer is another I like to watch. She sometimes does the more edited videos or she does the relaxed "only singing with her guitar" kind of videos. I like that she does a bit of both. Her voice is so lovely to listen to.  She also writes her own music.

AgainstthecurrentNY
I have mentioned Against The Current before in monthly favourites and on my instagram so it's no surprise that I included them in this post I absolutely love this band, I can't find a band that is very similar to them.

They do the occasional cover but they have been recently sharing their own music a lot more. Their original music is so so good.

Alex Aiono.
I only recently started watching Alex because other YouTubers kept speaking about him and I see why. He's super talented and has a clear passion for music. You can tell her loves what he does.

  ,

Alex G.
I'm sure a lot of you have heard of Alex G as she's quite popular on YouTube. Her original music and covers are so good. I really enjoy her videos.  She's popular for a reason.

Hobbie Stuart.
Hobbie Stuart is the last I'm going to mention but in no way the least. Hobbie is really good at mashing up songs together to make a great unique cover. He has great content on his channel and is very talented.

Just wanted to talk about something different to fashion and beauty. Hope you enjoyed this post! Thanks for reading x

Dreading School? Me Too.

So I'm heading back to school in 3 weeks time (cue the waterworks.) This means I have to start getting all my books and school supplies. Funnily enough I actually like buying school supplies because I love buying new copy books, and pens and things. Call me weird but it's true, haha. To make us all a little more upbeat about going back I wanted to talk about some tips and name some positives about school.

School in Ireland I'm sure is very different to other places like huge high-schools in America but school is school so we can all relate in some way.

So we all mainly dread the homework and tests so the only thing that can make that easier is by getting organised. One thing that helps me is having everything laid out neatly and looking pretty. I buy study copies and folders with nice colours and pretty prints. It's like when you don't want to workout you buy new gym clothes to motivate you.

Next is if you're not a morning person, like myself, this tip might help you. Once you manage to get yourself out of bed and you're getting ready for school, blast your favourite songs into your ears that will get you all pumped. This really works for me if I don't want to go somewhere or I don't want to do something I play music and I feel a little more enthusiastic about things.

One main tip is try to make sure to keep up with your work, don't fall behind. That will make school a lot harder for yourself and give you more work and stress.

The really good thing about school is you'll get to see your friends 5 days a week. WHOOP WHOOP! A lot of people say school is the best time of your life so enjoy it even though that can be hard to believe. I actually enjoy school it's just the thought of going there that kills me.

Just be grateful that you have the opportunity to further your education because some people don't even have the option to go to school. Deep but true.

Hope this post was some way helpful. Quite a chatty blog post for a change. thanks for reading! Go enjoy the rest of Summer that's left, I will be.

Denim Jacket Obsession.

Hey Guys! You have probably noticed unless you've been living under a rock that denim jackets are everywhere at the moment. I don't have one friend that doesn't own one. I currently only own one denim jacket and have been wearing it to death this Summer.

Summer in Ireland isn't always that warm so sometimes we need a light jacket over an outfit like a denim jacket. I'm only talking about blue denim jackets today but there are so many other coloured ones around such as white and black that are very popular too.

A denim jacket is just the perfect finishing piece to add a little more style to a fairly plain outfit. I like to wear my denim jacket with black jeans preferably or printed pants. I don't think I'd be brave enough to work the "double denim" trend.

They look really nice over dresses, skirts and pants. They are definitely a wardrobe essential.

Even though I'm constantly wearing my denim jacket now in Summer, I know that I'll be rocking it right through Autumn also.

I bought my denim jacket in Stradivarius at the start of Summer for around €30 I think. I doubt the exact one is still in the shops but I found a few different types online. They are everywhere on the high-street if you're looking for a more affordable one.

If you really like baggy long ones, furred collar, cropped then you might like a few of the ones I found online.

Are you loving the "denim jacket" trend too? Hope this was helpful to you! Thanks for reading :) x

London Baby!

Hey Everyone. So my older brother, Daniel was going to London for 3 days so I decided I would go with him. We both had never been before and both loved it there. I would love to live there for a while in the future but who knows.

We took tonnes of photos so I've decided to share some with you. London is so beautiful, crazy busy but so much fun!

We went to see Les Miserables in the West End the first night. Words can't explain how amazing it was. I'm a massive fan of the movie but this was miles better.

We also went into this giant M&M's shop which was so cool. I made a little friend in there ;)

We spent the entire second day being complete tourists. Going to see places such as Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Tower of London, Westminster Abbey and the London Eye. There's so much to see in London but we just went to the major landmarks. I think Big Ben was my favourite though! It's so incredible.

Yep that's me trying to do that trick where you pretend you're leaning against Big Ben. I'm just so clever, haha.

That food wasn't all for me by the way even though it does look like I'm having a mighty feast. Daniel and I were sharing.

We also went to Harrods even though both of us could not afford anything in there, haha. I was almost scared walking around in case I'd knock something over as everything in there is so expensive.

That night we went to Piccadilly Circus to see all the lights. It was so cool and really busy which I really liked because it had such a nice vibe down there. As you can see I got an ice-cream and was clearly very excited about it.

I loved visiting London. I've wanted to go there for so long and now I can scratch it off my bucket list. WHOOP!

I hope you enjoyed this post. Thanks for reading x

Spots Are Annoying!

Hellooo:)
So I'm sure you can all agree with me when I say spots are so annoying so when we have amy all we want to do is get rid of them. I have wrote down the 3 products I like to use to treat any spots I get. When it comes to skincare I rarely change it as I have a routine that works for me, however I do still get the occasional breakout.

I don't suffer with acne so the products I use are only for the annoying spots that appear every once and a while. Bare in mind that everyone's skin is different so what works for me mightn't necessarily work for you.

Products I Use.
After I've removed all of my makeup and washed my face. I like to use a face scrub. I don't use this every night though. I try to use it twice a week, just for a deep clean. I'm not too fussy when it comes to scrubs but I don't like them too scented. I find that scented face products can irritate my skin because they are too perfumed.

I've been recently using the Boots tea tree and witch hazel exfoliating face scrub. Tea tree is very good to cure spots and it makes my skin feel much softer.

After I've washed my face I apply Sudocreme to the areas where I tend to get breakouts. I swear by sudocreme for spots, cuts and any other sores on my skin. It is literally an amazing skincare essential for me. It's so cheap and really good. It's not spoken about enough really.

There was one point that my skin was really bad and I wanted to make sure I wasn't getting acne so I asked my doctor about it. He told me that Duac Gel is the best for my skin. He said to apply this at night to my spots only.

I applied this to the spots I had at the time and it immediately dried them up. They were practically gone in a week so I now use it on any spots that appear. It is quite expensive but it's only to be applied to the spots I have. You also have to get a prescription for this product so it isn't as easy to find or buy but it's so good.

July Beauty Favourites.

Hey Guys! Sorry I've been really sick for the past few days so I haven't been able to post but I'm better and back in action.

I have another monthly favourites for you all. Enjoy!

1. Benefit "Fauxmance" lip-gloss. These are the most moisturising lip-glosses I've ever used.  This colour is my favourite because it's my lip colour but better.

It's super glossy and isn't one bit sticky! They taste good too, haha.

2. Next favourite is the "Maybeline Brow Drama." This is a mascara for your brows that just colours in the hairs and keeps them in place. This colour is perfect for my brows so sometimes I only have to wear this and nothing else and I'm good to go.

3. I've been loving this Maybelline Super Stay Gel Nail Colour. This colour "Surreal 635"is such a bright shade and very summery. The Maybeline nail polishes are very good and long-lasting.

The applicator is very easy to use so if you have a shaky hand like I do then you'll love these too.

4. I read this trick somewhere before and said I would try it out. The trick is to rub Vaseline on your eyelids at night to make them grow longer, fuller and stronger.

To be honest I didn't think it would work but I have noticed a difference to my lashes. They seem stronger and a tiny bit longer. It definitely moisturises my eyelashes so I don't have to worry about them breaking. YAY!

5. Next favourite is this Kiko Powder Blush in the shade "103." Kiko isn't that easy to get in Ireland so one of my closest friends Aisling brought this back from Spain for me.

It is my favourite blusher in my collection as of right now. It's such a gorgeous coral shade which is my favourite colour to where for blusher. It has gold specs of glitter in it so it adds a little highlight to my cheeks.

The colour pay-off is so good and it just adds the nicest healthy flush to my cheeks. KIKO PLEASE COME TO BOOTS IN IRELAND!

6. I've recently been enjoying contouring and highlighting and the Sleek Face Form Trio is what I've been using to do that.  I took this on holidays with me and I was pretty much sorted.

I also love the blush in this palette but my favourite is the contour powder. It's the perfect shade for me and it's completely matte so it looks very natural. The colour pay-off is so strong so start light and then build.

7. My last favourite for this month is the Elf Blush Brush. This was actually Jen's (my sister) before but I cleaned it and now I use it. Sorry Jen, haha.

I actually like to use this for contour because it fits perfectly in the hollows of my cheeks. I have used this for blusher in the past too and it's perfect for that also,

*****
So that's all my favourites for the month of July. Hope you enjoy these posts and thanks for reading.
